David Wright will be a guest on the Terry Hawke radio show on Saturday 26th August 2011. David will talk about his new studio album, "In Search of Silence" and the show will feature music from the forthcoming album.

David will also talk about the Trinity project so this will be a premiere for music from the "Music for Angels" CD released next week, along with "The Spirit of Light" CD, a DW volume 2 Best of featuring re-recorded and remastered works which is also due for release next week.

Sorry to report that we had to cancel the planned live interview tonight on the Terry Hawke chill out show. We've rescheduled for 26th August. This was down to my hectic schedule and Terry wisely taking the stress off me by re-arranging the dates. It does give me time to finish the new space music studio album "In Search of Silence" so that extracts will be available to play.

The "Spirit of Light" new age CD is now complete and full details will be posted next week.

New version of Rysheara for 2012 AD Music compilation

I've decided to submit a brand new, and as yet unfinished version, of "Rysheara" for the recently announced AD Music double compilation to be released in 2012. I've been working on an updated studio version of this track, on and off, for a while. It's based on live arrangements from the last few years and features electric lead guitar. I'll finish this later in the year when music for my current space music albums projects are completed.

David Wright produces Dreamer Project

Glad to hear that "Dreamer Project" has assigned its first space music CD release to AD Music. The album "The Road to your Heart" will be released in 2012. I'm producing the space music project and the first 40 minutes is 90% complete after artist Kjetil spent 2 weeks at my home and studio recently. The space music isn't too far removed from my own melodic style but it has its own core identity that I'm sure fans of melodic electronic music will enjoy. More news will be posted later this year.

Music for "Trinity Project" completed.

A productive evenings work last night saw the music for The Trinity project first new age space music album "Music for Angels" completed. I still have some production work to do, but musically, it's done and we're really quite pleased with the result. There are 3 tracks" the lovely 8 minute opener "Love's Purest Light", followed by the gentle groovy 18 minute "Angels in the Sunlight", and the spaced out 32 minute epic "Eternal Reincarnation". Album time is around 60 minutes and its a nice space music blend of pads, melody, acoustic guitar and gentle rhythms. Still on track for an early September release. Expect to hear music from the CD on up and coming "Man of Two Worlds" radio show.

The Trinity Space Music Project update

Back to work on the Trinity project new age space music album "Music for Angels" today. Neil and Nigel will be round to the studio later and hopefully we can put the electronic music album to bed. We have a 35 minute drifting electronic music track titled "Eternal reincarnation" completed - nice acoustic guitar over gentle pads and delicate rhythms. The beautiful "Love's Purest light" is an unashamed romantic gem and is also complete. There are a couple of space music tracks to work on and hopefully we can be inspired today and finish them.

David Wright on up and coming Terry Hawke electronic music radio Show

Just arranged to appear for interview on the Terry Hawke electronic music Radio Show on 102.3 HFM [UK] "Hawke Chill Out Sessions" on Saturday night/Sunday morning 6th/7th August, ie less than 2 weeks time. Looks like it'll be the 2.00 am slot so it can be heard by American listeners.

I'll be talking about my forthcoming electronic music CD releases and there will be plenty of space music from them to listen to, so I look forward to chatting with Terry and of course, your company.

Back to work on David Wright solo electronic music........

After two week concentrated work on Norwegian "Dreamer Project" space music as arranger and producer, with sequencer programming and even a mini moog lead thrown in, it's back to work on my solo space music projects. "The Spirit of Light" electronic music album is almost complete, with some minor work required. This electronic music album contains a mix of reworked older tracks plus some brand new music specifically for the new age market. So expect very melodic, drifting space music.

The brand new solo album "In Search of Silence" is near completion with all the electronic music composed. Mixing and production work is taking place over the next month or so.

The 3rd electronic music solo album is a space music soundtrack in conjunction with a sci-fi book written by Matt Howarth. The provisional title for this electronic music CD is "The Alpha Colony" and the book has been written. I'll be composing later in the year, although I already have a number of space music ideas sketched out. The CD will be released on AD Music in 2012 and the book will be available as a file on the CD.

Thanks and New Music

Many thanks to all the well wishers who have contacted me recently, either via email or facebook, myspace, twitter etc concerned about my health. I'm "Okay", but I do have to go to hospital this week for tests and scans to find out what the problem is. So hopefully, in the next week or so, the Doctors will know how to solve the problem.

In the meantime, I'm actually getting on with new space music quite well, with half the new album "In search of Silence" completed. I think it's different to recent releases, probably more in line with "Walking with Ghosts" than anything I've done since that album, because the songs are much more structured. Also, I think there's a Vangelis feel in parts - not sure how that came about, it just did. But I'm very pleased with it musically so far. I'm hoping to have the album ready for the Bungay Bash.

I'm also working on a sci fi book soundtrack, written by Matt Howarth, which is in its early stages (the space music that is - the book is basically complete). The book will be on the CD as an ebook with the music. I'm hoping this will be released towards the end of the year. Not sure about the title yet......

Another project I'm working on is under the name "Trinity", a new age project of relaxation style space music. I'm working with Neil Fellowes and Nigel Tuner-Heffer on this one and we're hoping the CD will be released in 2-3 months.
